Who are the Mamas?

Hello! My name is Meryl and my partner’s name is Crystal. We are the Mamas to Mia and Iroh.

After years of wanting to start a blog from all of my travels and adventures I’ve finally found the courage and dedication to just do it. I love to travel-and I mean every aspect of it. I love the planning, researching, the spreadsheets and organizing. I love the travel: getting on the airplane, sharing an Einstein bagel with my love and getting surprised when our two pups behave so well. I love watching a movie or two or three (oh those long flights), maybe catching up on my reading or simply falling asleep with our cute animal neck pillows. I love the destination. I love coming home – knowing we will be back in our bed, back to work, seeing friends and family. I’ve loved the journey since day one.

What is indescribable is being able to share my journey with Crystal. I think I may live an extraordinary life because of the love we share in even the simplest moments. One weekend it rained so much we couldn’t leave the house. We had every window opened, blankets piled on, hot tea and the newest Netflix show binge we had going. I’m pretty sure I was reading The Bridgerton Series and Crystal was in and out of sleep but it still remains one of my most favorite weekends together.

So, I hope this blog becomes a page full of beautiful moments: big and small-and everything in between.
